the title of the Conference is 'Rural Communities - thriving assets or expensive liabilities?', a debate that lies at the heart of so many decisions about rural policies and services. How do political decision-makers view rural communities? What is their rationale? The more that the issue of long term sustainability rises up the agenda, the more pressing this question becomes.
We have a superb range of speakers who will bring differing perspectives to the debate and I hope you will come and join us to hear their views.
