i) Search Engine Optimisation – Your website's search engine placement will depend upon several factors built into the design and layout of the site.

As part of our web design service we'll identify the keywords associated with your site and build it with the aim of achieving the best available search engine optimisation. We'll then register your site with the major search engines.

If you have a website already that is not achieving good search engine positioning, we can either update the site ourselves or prepare a consultation report so that you (or your designer) can set about doing the necessary changes.

ii) Pay-per-click advertising – The major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.) all offer pay-per-click advertising, where you can target relevant keywords and ensure top placements. Pay-per-click advertising is a science in itself and requires experience and know-how to ensure the greatest success. We’ve run several successful pay per click campaigns (click here for examples). And can either help you to get set up or simply to improve an existing campaign. A medium sized campaign will take about 2-3 hours to set up and approx 1-2 hours per month management for the first couple of months Our rates are £30 per hour.

iii) Email newsletters – Once you’ve gathered a database of clients email address’ you’ll want to keep in touch with them to advise on any special offers, product changes, company news or upcoming events. We’ll design a html page (like a web page) and distribute it to your mailing list. Design costs are £30 per hour (usually 3-5 hours dependent upon complexity of design) and the original template can be reused weekly, monthly or quarterly with the content updated.

iv) Web links – Links from other quality websites can help to increase your search engine positioning on Google. We offer a service where we’ll contact relevant sites and request and administrate a mutual linking of sites. You may however prefer to do this yourself in which case we’ll provide useful hints and tips to help you on your way.
